Faces of Lincoln Exhibit, Part I (through May 16)
This exhibit demonstrates how photography helped define President Abraham Lincoln's legacy. The Faces of Lincoln: Lincoln and Indiana exhibitions from the Indiana Historical Society showcase items from the Indiana Historical Society's extensive Lincoln collections. These traveling exhibitions feature illustrations, maps, manuscripts, photographs, sheet music and poetry, all of which relate to Lincoln's time as a Hoosier. Faces of Lincoln: Lincoln and Indiana will be featured at the History Center in a three-phased presentation during the national celebration of Lincoln's birth (February 1809). The first exhibition runs April 7 through May 16, 2008, the second is scheduled for September 29 through November 7, 2008, and the third is slated for early spring, 2009.
